Memorial Gardens, Groves and Plantings

A memorial garden or planting commemorates and preserves the memory of a person(s), an event or historical date. It may be located on public grounds - e.g., hospitals, libraries, parks, etc. - or private grounds that are open to the public. Memorial gardens may be sponsored by a club, a group of clubs or a district and are registered with National Garden Clubs.
