College scholarships for California students
An established fund provides scholarships for college juniors & seniors with noted accomplishments, or students who have completed two years of college, who plan careers in botany, conservation, entomology, floriculture, forestry, horticulture, landscape architecture, plant biology and/or plant genetics, urban planning, or research in allied fields. The decision of the Scholarship Committee, composed of the Scholarship Chairman and the Board of Trustees, is based on scholarship, character, aptitude, ability to succeed and the financial need of the student.
CGCI Scholarship applicants may attend the school of their choice, provided
there is a recognized department in one of the required subjects. Any district which
has a winner(s) will be notified.
